For thousands of years, the Gods and the Cythraul have been fighting for control of the world. Using human surrogates, the two sides have fought many battles. Long ago, the Goddess RI left her siblings and set her children on a different course. Now she must send one of her children to help in the coming battles, fulfilling a promise made to her brother, FA. One of FA's Paladyne children will help guide the path of the one RI chooses.
